Mrs. Amber Sobery To All Instructors
Amber Sobery has been married for 25 years and they have been blessed with a daughter who is now in High School. Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education from Fontbonne University and is a Missouri Certified Sign Language Interpreter. For 20 years she has been an Early Interventionist working with both the Missouri First Steps Program and Families First Intervention Program. She works will families who have young children with developmental delays and specializes in those who are deaf/hard of hearing and using sign language as part of their communication choices. Amber holds teaching certificates in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education and Deaf Education K-12. She also gets to periodically interprets for church events, First Steps parents who are Deaf, and individuals with Deaf Family Grow. Amber is a member of The Rock Church of St. Louis Ballwin campus, where she is involved with the children and youth ministries.
