Mrs. Alyssa Ward To All Instructors

My name is Alyssa Ward and I have been teaching since 2008, bringing both academic excellence and real-world experience into the classroom. With a strong educational background—including a nearly completed Master’s in Finance from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Johnson State College in Vermont—I combine business knowledge with a deep passion for education. My professional journey includes roles as a financial advisor, insurance agent, and classroom teacher, giving me a well-rounded and practical approach to instruction. For over 17 years, I have dedicated myself to education as a Home Educator, teaching students from Pre-K through 12th grade and actively leading and coaching in numerous educational programs. Currently, I teach a diverse range of subjects at SCCHE, including Economics, Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Debate, Creative Writing, Middle School Math, and Introduction to Business and Investing. I remain committed to inspiring students through engaging, relevant, and academically rigorous instruction.
