Mrs. Melissa Jacobs To All Instructors

Mrs. Jacobs has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood education.  She has taught in various educational settings ranging from homeschool, to children's church, preschool, and homeschool co-op's.  Mrs. Jacobs has been a homeschool mom since 2006 when her first born started kindergarten.  She has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for 25 years and they have 8 children, several of whom have been involved in SCCHE classes.  They have welcomed 2  of their children into the family through the gift of adoption.  Because of her background as an adoptive mom and working for a period of time in a special needs preschool setting, Mrs. Jacobs has experience working with a wide variety of students and learning styles, several of her own children have struggled with dyslexia, and slow processing in their learning journey.  Mrs. Jacobs feels that learning should be fun whenever possible.  She loves to teach history, and has a passion for good quality literture.
